a quick introduction to what Reculture is about
Why this podcast
We’re living in a moment full of messages. But very few of them actually help us understand where we are or where we’re going.
Reculture explores the messages shaping culture, leadership, media, and institutions, and how the best ones don’t just capture attention, but invite people to change the story.
What We Explore
Adventure — when uncertainty is an asset
Myths — how cultures decide what matters
Artifacts — where meaning shows up in public
Voice— what shows up when the script breaks
Culture— who makes sure we say what we mean
Nerve — when data collides with audacity

About the Host
Hi, I’m CJ Casciotta, and I care a lot about the messages we put out there. I’m the founder of Reculture, a sense-making studio helping organizations translate complex ideas into messages, stories, and media that people recognize and respond to in real life.
Along the way, I’ve worked with brands like Delta Air Lines, Sesame Street, Lululemon, and MGM Studios, with work showing up in the wild in places like Times Square, broadcast TV, and classrooms around the world.
I’m the author of books like Get Weird and The Forgotten Art of Being Ordinary, but my proudest credits are husband and dad to two delightfully weird kids.
